Woof Woof – look out for the Snowdogs

Woof Woof – look out for the Snowdogs

We know we are slap bang in the middle of August but we’re already getting very excited about this Autumn when the Snowdogs will visit Brighton for the first time. Post a selfie of yourself with a Snowdog to our Facebook page and you could win a bottle of champagne!

Snowdogs?

Yes, Snowdogs. Inspired by the film The Snowman and The Snowdogs, Wild in Art have created a unique Snowdog sculpture trail in support of The Martlets Hospice. Over 8 weeks this Autumn you’ll be able to spot 43 different Snowdogs along the seafront but also in various parks and streets across Brighton.

Here’s what they’ll look like:

Snowdogs in Brighton

We’re particularly excited as, via our membership of Brighton & Hove Hotel Association, we are sponsoring one of the Snowdogs. Even better it will be on display in New Steine Gardens right outside Strawberry Fields. To celebrate we’re launching a competition for the best selfie with a Snowdog. Simply post your photo to our Facebook page here and we will give the best one a bottle of Champagne. Your selfie can be with the Snowdog right outside our door – or with any Snowdog in Brighton. You can enter as many times as you want so why not do all 43!

Not Snowdogs?

Not a Snowdog but our own Strawberrydog, Ted, is feeling a little bit jealous of all the attention the Snowdogs are getting. So to keep him happy here’s a picture of his Royal gorgeousness in a mural by local artist and friend of Strawberry Fields, Julie Anne Gilburt celebrating Brighton’s most beautiful dogs. Ted is in the 3rd row from the bottom, 3rd in from the left, in between the pug and the terrier.

Come and see him at Strawberry too this Autumn!
